# A bot answers questions about production

A bot that queries the production infrastructure read-only, through an MCP server, with every access traced.

## The problem

Teams wait for a specialist to answer simple questions: “can you look at why this is crashing?”.

## The constraint

Access to production: no writes possible and no secret leaks.

## What I did

1. **The question.** A colleague asks their question in the team chat.
2. **Four systems, read-only.** An LLM queries four infrastructure systems, read-only, through an MCP server: containers, monitoring, database, network.
3. **A sourced answer.** The answer cites what it saw.
4. **Everything is traced.** Every question is traced: who, which tools, what cost.

## The result

In service since 2026, on a machine with no inbound port. Every access was tested for writes: refused.
